In addition to a further consignment of Turkmen rugs and trappings from the collection of the well-known North German specialist Dr Werner Loges, and other 'single owner' consignments Nagel Auktionen's sale in Stuttgart of Rugs, Carpets and Ethnographic Art on 10 September 2013 includes a full and varied complement of Turkish, Persian, Caucasian, Turkmen, Indian, Chinese and East Turkestan weavings. While condition is a potential issue for many of the lots, estimates are, as usual in Stuttgart, generally low and inviting.
