In HALI 175, the extent of the largest, and arguably most important, private collection of antique rugs built anywhere in the world over the last decade or so, was revealed through a selection of Classical and 19th century Caucasian carpets. However limitations of space allowed us to show only a fraction of the collection, so here are some more highlights chosen for the first in this regular column.
