The Battersea Winter Decorative Antiques Fair is pleasant and relatively low-pressure event, aimed primarily at the mid-level local (UK) antique and semi-antique decorative furnishings market, including, of course, ladies who shop. Carpet, textile and tribal art exhibitors this year included Clive Loveless with high quality tribal art, Molly Hogg with eye-catching textiles from Africa and Asia, and a wide variety of traditional oriental carpets with Joshua Lumley, Pars, Yacou and Jenny Hicks-Beach.
