Tribal Art London 2015

Tribal Art London 2015 is on at the Mall Galleries SW1, 2 – 5 September. The private view last night saw an eclectic mix of tribal art enthusiasts making the most of 19 specialist dealers under one roof, offering a wide variety of indigenous art from around the globe.

Joss Graham showed his usual broad array of enticing textiles including mounted garments from China and Indonesia and a newly acquired embroidered curtain from a recent visit to India. Other exhibitors showcasing beadwork, sculpture, masks and other artefacts include Louis Nierijnck and Galerie Lemaire from the Netherlands, and from the UK, Adam Prout, Owen Hargreaves + Jasmine Dahl, Lisa Tao + Reuben Reubens, Kapil Jariwala Gallery, David Malik and Kenn MacKay.
