  1. ‘A Collection of Collections’, Sotheby’s London, 6 November

    Sotheby’s London sale on 6 November is led by a group of twenty-three carpets from the Carmen Thyssen-Bornemisza collection in Madrid. The consignment includes a handful of classical Ushak, Esfahan and Caucasian rugs and fragments, as well as some particularly good Chinese and East Turkestan rugs.

  2. Carpets and Textiles at Christie’s, London, 26 April 2018

    Christie’s forthcoming sale Arts of the Islamic and Indian Worlds features a selection of 70 carpets from the past five centuries, highlighting the various weaving centres within the Islamic world, from Spain to China.
