31 July 2006 The season of world ethnographic and American Indian art shows in Santa Fe, New Mexico, begins in a few of weeks. Barry M. Cohen's fifth annual Historic Indian and World Tribal Arts show, at the College of Santa Fe's Shellaberger Tennis Center is on from 10-13 August. Ninety-five exhibitors will be showing early ethnographic arts from Africa, Asia, and Oceania, as well as Precolumbian and Spanish Colonial art and classical antiquities. Whitehawk's 23rd Antique Ethnographic Art show begins the following day at the El Museo Cultural de Santa Fe and will feature one hundred and fifty booths of Oceanic, Pre-columbian, Spanish Colonial, African, Oriental, Indonesian and other ethnographic art from around the world. This is directly followed by their 28th Indian Art show at the same venue on (14-16 August) and a new show Antiques of Americas (& Beyond) which is set to feature an eclectic mix of American antiques, folk art, ethnographic and tribal art as well as historic American Indian artefacts (18-20 August).
