Although Bertram Frauenknecht has closed his gallery in Munich, by continuing in his role as organiser of Munich Textile Art, he has a strong presence in the city's rug scene. This year's fair ran for four days (17-20 November 2005) as part of the Antika event in the Forum of the Deutsches Museum. The fourth edition of the event had twelve exhibitors from Germany, Greece, Austria, Italy, France and Turkey. Reports confirmed that the quality of the rugs and textiles outshone the material in the other event and by the end of the four days most exhibitors expressed satisfaction with business done.
